Who We Are
Succor For Orphans Widows And The Disabled Initiative (SOWD) is a private non-profit inspired foundation.
It is non governmental, non religious, non political and non ethic organisation. It is registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, on 26th of October 2021.
Sowd Initiative although not a religious organization was inspired by the divine word of the gospel to be a blessing to humanity, especially to these selected groups the Orphans, Widows And The Disabled through economic, emotional, and psychological empowerment. These we achieve through skills acquisition, Seminars and monetary empowerment.
Lack of proper support for Orphans, Widows and people with disability is a pressing concern, and the impact of the challenges they face cannot be over-emphasised. At SOWD, we believe it is our collective responsibility to help address this issues head-on and make a lasting difference in their lives.
OUR GOAL: To improve the life situation of our vulnerable groups which include the orphans, Widows And The Disabled.

Our NGO is manned by members dedicated to providing comprehensive care, training and quality education for those we care for, empowering them to overcome adversity and reach their full potential through the support of kind-hearted people like you.
In the past 10 years, our management has through their hard work and devotion to this great course helped administer resources judiciously, putting smiles on the faces of many challenged Nigerians.
